RTS has been the intercom provider of choice for the summer and winter editions world\u2019s largest sporting event for decades. This year\u2019s Winter Games in Beijing sees the latest IP-based intercom solutions from RTS serve at the core of on-site and remote operations by a range of national and international broadcasters.<\/p>\n
These include CCTV, China\u2019s state broadcaster, which will deploy six state-of-the-art OB trucks to support broadcasts of the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as events including winter biathlon, ski jumping, curling, speed skating, ice hockey, and figure skating. SMG (Shanghai Media Group) will also deploy six OB trucks. All of them are equipped with RTS intercom systems. In alignment with this, the RTS equipment list for CCTV\u2019s operations demonstrates the scope of the brand\u2019s IP-ready product offering and the flexibility it allows, given that hybrid optical fiber cable will be in use for both intercom and video transmission. The lineup includes ADAM, ADAM-M and ODIN matrices, and KP-5032, KP-4016 and KP-3016 keypanels.
